Our Foundation
Spiritual Awakening Night and our Vegan Restaurant Yummy's are non-profit 501(c)3 organizations under Matsya Inc. providing Bhakti outreach in Atlanta, GA on behalf of ISKCON.
Founder of ISKCON
ISKCON, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness was founded in 1966 in New York City by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of Krishna and Bhakti Yoga throughout the world. In 1965, at the age of 69, he traveled from India to the United States in order to share the ancient knowledge of Krishna Consciousness with a new audience. Srila Prabhupada's teachings continue to inspire millions of people worldwide in this global movement, and his legacy lives on through the many devotees and disciples who carry on his work today.
Spiritual Awakening Night Vision
Our purpose is to be able to give people a break from the material world and provide them with a proven process of Bhakti Yoga through mantra meditation, spiritual discussion, reading, ecstatic music Kirtan, and association with like-minded individuals.
We are currently building more programming throughout the week to be able to support the increasing number of people who are engaging in Bhakti. As we grow and work tirelessly, please kindly offer a donation. Any amount will help us spread this ultimate healing practice.
